We have a lot of experience with kids here at Palos Heights Family Dental, from our own children at home, to our younger patients who come for their dental visits. We strive to provide advanced pediatric dental care that’s gentle and stress-free. Your child should have their first dental visit before they’re one year old, even if all of their teeth haven’t come in yet.
Average treatment time is about 12 months.
Family-block appointments make scheduling easy.
Fun, stress-free visits with kid-friendly amenities.
We encourage you and your child to visit us before their first dental exam so they can get to know our office and staff ahead of time.

Our pediatric dental services include:

- Tooth-Colored Fillings
We can also walk through proper brushing and flossing techniques and give you nutritional advice for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. If you ever have any questions about your child’s dental care, let us know! It’s our job to make sure they enjoy a lifetime of healthy smiles.
Kid-Friendly Dental Office
As a practice that provides children’s dentistry, we want to make dental hygiene fun and easy for your child. That can mean having a little longer appointment to introduce ourselves and our cool dental tools, and helping mom and dad feel comfortable, too. It also means creating a welcoming space where children feel at home. At Palos Heights Family Dental, we do that with our kid-friendly amenities:
- Treasure Chest
- Books & Toys
- Complimentary Kid-Approved Refreshments
- No Cavity Club
Is Your Child Scared of the Dentist?
Don’t worry! It’s common for children to feel nervous about visiting the dentist. Dr. Arora and Dr. Patel know that treating kids is not quite the same as adults, and we have experience with helping children feel comfortable and safe. You are welcome to come back to the treatment room with your child, and you can also bring their favorite toy or stuffed animal for them to hold throughout their appointment. We encourage you and your child to visit us before their first dental exam so they can get to know our office and staff ahead of time. For more tips, don’t hesitate to contact us. The earlier you teach your kids about the importance of dental care and bring them to see the dentist, the better!
